The State appeals the sentence imposed by the Cowlitz County Superior Court upon Douglas Chases plea of guilty to delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and second degree unlawful possession of a firearm. The State contends that the trial court erred in retroactively applying the 1999 amendments to the Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative (DOSA), RCW 9.94A.120(6) (Laws of 1999, ch. 197 sec. 4). We agree.
